Frank Bayer Attends the 18th European Society of Glass Conference
The 18th ESG Conference took place in Lyon from April 13 to 17, 2026. Frank Bayer of Keylab Glastechnologie presented his research on the accelerated chemical strengthening of glass in a presentation titled “Experimental Investigation of Combined Chemical Strengthening and Flame Treatment for Post-Processing of Soda Lime Glass.”
With more than 500 abstracts submitted this year, the ESG-ICG Conference ranks among the most important gatherings in its field worldwide. In addition to numerous exciting presentations and posters, the event focused in particular on exchanges with renowned international scientists. The event was hosted by the French glass network USTV, which combined the conference with the ICG Annual Meeting.
